Compatible replacement for obsolete and no longer available printers with modern printing technology from Microplex
- Your printer is discontinued and there are no more consumables available?
- Your service contract has been terminated?
- Would you like to continue printing your application?
We propose you an alternative solutions with last printing generation technology
Support most printer languages
Microplex printers emulate most printer languages on the market. This allows existing applications that use older printer languages (e.g. PCL5, Epson ESC/P, IBM Proprinter, IPDS, ...) to continue to function without changing data with modern printing technology. This can save a lot of time and money.
Better print quality
For example, if you replace a matrix printer (line printer, needle printer) by a Microplex continuous paper laser, you can continue printing smoothly with higher quality. Its graphics and barcodes will be crisp.
Print silently
Printing with a SOLID laser printer is often much quieter than most impact matrix printers. Due to the constant print speed, the noise level, it is also very constant. This is subjectively perpetuating as more pleasant compared to the noise range of a line printer. This protects users' nerves and is recommended for the health of workers.

Constant speed
Microplex continuous paper laser printers also print complex, variable data that contains many barcodes at maximum speed. Unlike most line printers. In order to achieve slightly better print quality, the print speed is reduced or the areas where the barcodes appear are printed twice. This often significantly reduces the pressure set.
Individual firmware adaptation
It might be possible that the Microplex printer does not fit your system requirements 100%. Since Microplex has all development resources in house, hardware and software, we can define a suitable modification in cooperation with the system builder in order to match the requirements.
- Individual electrical signals (GPIO / SPS-Control)
- Hardware printer modifications
- Emulation adaptations to fully support the customers print data
- Adaptation of status messages (Status-Out)
